We offer many great laser services, and laser hair is one of our most popular.

So the first question that's commonly asked is 'Who's a good candidate for laser hair removal?'

And the answer is, we use the Harmony laser, and it's been proven safe for all skin tones.

That being said, anyone with brown to black hair color is a great candidate.

If your hair is blond or gray, the laser won't be very effective.

It's looking for pigment and color in the hair and hair follicle so really that brown to black hair color. And again, any skin tone.

The next question that we commonly get asked is: 'What results can you expect?'

And the answer is, after about 6 to 8 sessions, your hair growth will be virtually gone.

Some people require a few more, but generally within six, you're all set.

And then some people need a few touch ups every few years.

Many things can influence this such as hormones and age.

Another commonly asked question is, 'How does it work and what is it?'

So the Alma Harmony SHR, which stands for Super Hair Removal, is a method of hair removal patented by Alma lasers.

It's currently being used in and around the world and is a globally recognized brand.

SHR begins by slowly raising the temperature of the skin to a point where the follicles of the hair start to suffer damage.

The level of heat also prevents the hairs from growing again in the future.

One of the most attractive features of this method of hair removal is the fact that the laser does not harm any of the tissues surrounding the side of the of the hair follicle, the skin just receives pulses that are short and repetitive, and this helps to achieve a high level of power, and heat while causing the patient almost no pain at all.

The most commonly asked question that we get is 'What is the cost?' And at Estetica, we have so many options you can either pay by session.

You can also pre purchase a package of six treatments per area, and that is a discounted package, of course.

Another question that we get often is 'Does it hurt?' 

Our laser, the Alma Harmony XL Pro is virtually painless.

We use a cool, patented laser tip.

It's constantly cooling, and we actually prefer to use the in-motion technique, which many lasers don't offer.

But it's much more comfortable than a single spot treat laser without a cool tip. 

With the in motion we're distributing the heat across the area many times, rather than all the heat concentrated in one spot at one time, we're just spreading that heat around.

We do use the spot treat in certain areas, but again, that also is virtually painless with that nice, cool tip.
